iMouseFix
This is a GUI version of Richard Bentley's MouseFix. (i)MouseFix is a very simple program that will allow you to regain control of the mouse acceleration in Mac OS X. Both this web page and the program copies large parts from MouseFix because he says: "feel free to take the code and wrap a nice interface round it. Be nice and make it free for everyone to use though :-)"
He continues: "MouseFix is a trivial program ... All it does is to poke some numbers into the mouse driver which set up the acceleration curve and the speed of the mouse / cursor relationship. It does NOT patch any code; it simply explains to the mouse driver the error of its ways :-) ... In fact it took Richard Bentley considerably longer to write his web page than MouseFix itself." The graphical user interface that I added didn't take much longer, either.
iMouseFix will let you turn on/off mouse acceleration or adjust the acceleration factor. It will remember your settings so that next time you start iMouseFix it will set your acceleration preferences accordingly. By putting iMouseFix in your startup items, you will keep your preferences active all the time.
